Jakarta Monas Park Floating Pavilion

Jakarta becomes flooded more often than not. The open air social pavilion has a particular mechanism that keeps it afloat, put and open to business as usual even during such misfortunes as the frequent high waters. While the spire tower is moored and thus becomes gradually submersed in case of a flood, the pavilion itself simply floats upwards, all the while remaining anchored on two guiding helices of the steel tower.
